We are scheduling appointments to have your taxes prepared by AARP Representatives.
This is a free service.
They will be here on Mondays; give us a call as we only have a few appointment left..

Pedicures are on Tuesdays by appointment.
New pricing for 2015 are: Members $13, Non-members $16 and first time appointments are $20.
Call today to schedule your appointment. We have openings on Tuesday, January 27.

Game Day
Are you interested in playing some board games?
We'd like to start a day with games like Checkers, Scrabble or even Bingo.
Give us a call; we are starting a list to see who is interested!

Bridge Lessons
June Schmelzer will be teaching bridge lessons, the cost is $20. Call us to sign up.
Walking Club
Are you interested in walking to a walking video? We are going to start a walking club.
It will be in the afternoons and will take place right inside the Senior Center.

Do you need help with your Energy Bill?
Salvation Army can help! Call 1-855-929-1640 to set up an appointment.
They have an office right here in our building.
They can help assist with your bill payment, propane, wood pellets and fuel oil needs.

Class will now be on Wednesdays 10-1. This class is only $5.
You will learn the basics of drawing and then water color painting. Stop in and check it out anytime.

Wednesday nights at 6:30 is the night for wood carving.
No experience necessary for this class. It is also a FREE class. Call the senior center with questions.

Are you a card player? Do you play bridge?
Our Bridge game starts about 10:45 on Wednesday morning.
We are always looking for new players!

Tai Chi Class
Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. at the White Lake Senior Center.
You are welcome to walk in to try out the class at no cost.

Stop in and bring your lap top or use one of our computers..

Lions Club
The local Lions Club will give vision and hearing tests for free.
They can also help you get glasses and hearing aids.
We always have a box to collect your old eyeglasses.
If you are interested in a vision or hearing test, call the senior center.

Senior Transportation Service
Through the American Red Cross. Some stipulations apply. Call 726-3555.

Free Cell Phone Service

Hired Hands for Seniors
A list of service providers in Muskegon County is available at the White Lake Senior Center.
Services include home care or repair and personal care, customized for your needs.

Supplies Needed
Walkers, canes, crutches, bath safety supplies, adult diapers and other medical aids
offered to those in need.

The purposes of the White Lake Senior Center are:

Plan, develop and facilitate programs and activities for the enhancement of health and economic needs of the aging.
Plan, develop, and provide meeting places for the enhancement of social and recreational activities for seniors.
Promote and safeguard the independence and well being of senior citizens of the White Lake area.
Provide information and make referrals for seniors to various service organizations within the community.
Cooperate with existing agencies in the development of needed resources for seniors.
